Which Rhino Versions are supported

BranchHopper works on Rhino 7 and Rhino 8. Currently only on the Windows Version of Rhino. We are working on the Mac OS support with a high priority. Acutally – it should work, but testing tells us otherwise :-), so we need to dive deeper into why it’s not working.

Will it run on Mac Rhino?

Not yet – but soon. The UI of BranchHopper is currently based on ETO, so we are on the right track. We expect it to be out there soon.

Does BranchHopper work with GitHub?

BranchHopper stores the changes and commits you make to a GH file in a git repo on your file system. You could hook that up to your github. So, yes it works with GitHub and also other git systems. You would have to set it up yourself and there is no UI for it as of now. (We plan such features for the future)

Does BranchHopper support Grasshopper 2?

BranchHopper currently only works for Grasshopper 1. But, we will support it in the future and the SDK of Grasshopper 2 is more stable.

Is BranchHopper also supporting Third Party Plug-ins Components?

Yes. It should. (If you run into Problems, let us know)

Does BranchHopper recognize changes in Code Components (python, C#, VB)?

Yes, it does track them but currently does not mark the components as changed. The actual changes made in the code of the components also are not marked. (As of now)

Does BranchHopper work with Rhino inside Revit?

Yes. It does.
